Seeking copy of Will of George CARTER who died in 1789 in either Caroline Co,
VA or Lancaster Co, VA; even have one source that says he died in
Spotsylvania Co, VA.

Library of Virginia has two sites with Wills of a George CARTER in 1789; one
is in Caroline Co, VA Wills and Platts, 1742--1830 (Reel 7), page 46,
Probated Sept 1789.

The other is Lancaster Co, VA Wills, etc., No. 22, 1783--1795 (Reel 20), page
102-103.   Inventory & appr. rec. 16 Feb 1789.

Need copy of both Wills to see which is right by comparing with names of his
children:  Frances CARTER, b 13 Nov 1714; Henry CARTER, b 13 May 1718; Anne
CARTER, b 8 Aug 1720 or 1724; George CARTER, b 27 Feb 1721/22; Benjamin
CARTER, b 1725 (My CARTER ancestor); Jacob CARTER, b 1727.

Any help on this from some kind soul will be appreciated more than you will
ever know.   Willing to reimburse sender for copying and mailing expense.
