The Library of Congress (also accessible through the Library of Virginia)
has what is known as "Chronicling America"..There you can find newspapers
from all over the U.S. from the late 1800's until about 1930 or so..The
Library of Congress keeps adding newspapers.  This is a free site and
wonderful!  I have found a wealth of information!
