Greetings all!

    I've not posted for some time, and this looked like a good chance to 
throw my research problem out to the group again.

I'm trying to find the parents of Charles GOODMAN, born about 1740, 
possibly in Hanover Co., VA (Rev. Edgar Woods says he was from there, in 
The History of Albemarle County in Virginia.)
He married Elizabeth HORSLEY in Albemarle County, about 1760 (based on a 
deed of a slave to Charles from his father-in-law), and died in 
Albemarle County, VA in the last quarter of 1826 (will proven 01 JAN 1827).

So far, I have not found any Goodman families in Hanover County, that 
have a son named Charles that is unaccounted for.  Any help appreciated.
