I vote with Pat Muniz. We each should flood Brent's office with this well
written reply.

Mr. Tarter,

I would like you to reconsider your decision to ask Mr. Murray not to post
when he has research time available. This is a valuable service for many of
us not able to visit LVA ourselves. The messages are always short and only
list the time available. No mention of rates for services has ever been
mentioned. That is handled privately. In the past, on this site and other,
researchers have written the list asking for researchers in a particular
area. While some people volunteer their time and only change actual expenses
that occur, this is certainly not always the case. I don't see how it is
offensive to have a fellow listmember offer his services.

Thank you,

Pat Muniz
