May be actual or figurative - patriotic/dramatic expression; we need more of
the context of this phrase to respond adequately, Marie.

Subject: Rev War

Hello listers,

I have come across a phrase that I would like some opinions on.
"Shed their hearts blood in defense of Whig principals in the revolution"

Does this mean that they were killed or wounded?

Also, is there anyone who descends from Joel Watkins and Rhoda (Gresham)
Watkins? If so.. do you know if any of their sons served in the Rev War
and or were killed?

Thank you,

Marie McKinney
