Hello,

I would love to trade information on James DUFF who first showed up in
Fauquier Co. in 1770.  He was dead by 1798.

Who was his wife?  I have Sarah NEALE, daughter of Mary and  Joseph
NEALE, but I have just discovered their Sarah married Dennis WARNER 20
Feb 1793 in Fauquier Co.

Also:  who were James’ parents?

Some Sarah and James’ children moved to Barren Co., KY.  Their children:

Elizabeth, m. William Pinckard 1794; James, Jr.; William, m. Elizabeth
Ficklin 1807; Aaron; George; John, born 1763, m. Mary WHEATLEY 7 Jan
1788 [my line]; Susanna, b. 1763, m. 1, Berryman Jennings 1779, m. 2
Daniel Marr 1786; Nathaniel, b. 1766, m. Alice Allen 1802.

Mary WHEATLEY DUFF was the daughter of Lucilla (Lucy) and James WHEATLEY
of Fauquier Co.  Mary and John moved to Barren Co., KY and settled at
Old Rocky Hill.
