Looking for information on William Nathan Dicks, a Quaker who arttended at
various times the New Garden and Springfield Meetings in North Carolina and
the South River Meeting in Virginia.

Born in 1762, William married Agatha Terrell (daughter of Micajah & Sarah
Terrell, founders of the South River [Lynchburg] Meeting) in 1787.

They had four children, and moved back to Virginia around 1793. A 1795
Lynchburg newspaper contains an advertisement of William's Windsor Chair
making business. William died in December 1798 (recorded at New Garden MM,
but his estate was located in Campbell County [Lynchburg] Virginia).

It seems that Agatha moved back to the New Garden MM in 1800, and she stayed
until 1811, when she returned to Lynchburg for a couple years. After selling
off some property in 1814, she moved out west to Ohio.

Any information on William Dicks or the Dicks family (land records, houses,
tax records, etc.) would be greatly appreciated.
