GS-05 (Assessment Records) has been updated.
 
On existing series retention has been corrected:
 
010271: Real Estate Assessment Records: Board of Equalization Files
At the last update to GS-05, in 2001, the retention period had been
incorrectly extended to permanent.  We have corrected this retention
period to read:
"Retain until next general assessment or 4 years, whichever is longer,
then destroy in compliance with No. 8 on the schedule cover page."
 
Please note that the Board Minutes for the Board of Equalization will
continue to have a permanent retention.
