Hampton Roads Transit is now one of the many public transportation agencies worldwide to join the rapidly growing online social networks of FaceBook and Twitter!
HRT's FaceBook and Twitter pages provide the agency with a dynamic way of sharing information with riders and the general public, such as upcoming meetings, website teasers, interesting facts about our services (or public transportation in general), promotions, safety tips, news articles, special events, and other relevant HRT information.
A person can become a "fan" on FaceBook or "follow" us on Twitter and receive information directly on their personal profile. This also allows that person's friends to see their interest in Hampton Roads Transit. HRT's FaceBook page also allows users to view various photos and videos, and learn additional information about the agency. Both sites allow users to share comments and provide feedback.
