General Schedule 29 (Criminal Justice Training Academy Records) has been
completely revised.
 
This series only affects Crimnial Justice Training Academies and those
local agencies that provide storage or records management for the
academies.
 
This schedule, after a year-long sttudy process, has undergone some
serious changes. The series pertaining to Student Records and Class
Records have been completely changed, and retention periods for these
records are now substanially longer than on the original schedule.
Several series have been eliminated and replaced by newer series as
well.   
 
If you are involved with these records, visit our web site and download
the new schedule and review the changes.
