The Code of Virginia was amended some time ago to provide a three-year
period of time between a court ordering a record expunged and the record
being destroyed, in case "(i) the court or parties failed to strictly
comply with the procedures set forth in this section or (ii) the court
enters an order of expungement contrary to law."

The Expungement series 010486 in GS-12 Circuit Court Records has now
been updated to reflect this change.

You can find this and all other current versions of Locality General
Schedules at:

A very good 2012 to all...
