I want to notify you of a recent revision to General Schedule 25
(Community Corrections Act Program Records).  This schedule was last
reviewed and revised in 1996.  
 
The schedule now has the latest Library of Virginia format and numbering
scheme.  In addition, three series - Offender Drug and Alcohol Testing,
Offender Participation in Community Service and Offender Payment of
Fines, Costs and Restitution -  were deleted, and collapsed into the
main Series 005699 (Offender Case Files).  There were no formal series
numbers for these three, and the disposition was to move to the Series
005699 anyway, so these deletions amounted to cleaning up the schedule.
Also, series fron 1996 that added little or no series descriptions were
given full descriptions.  Lastly, new series definitions were added for
Administrative, Electronic, Fiscal and Personnel Records.
 
This series revision was approved on September 21 during the Records
Oversight Committee Meeting in Richmond.
