Updated flyer for Richmond ARMA August Dinner Meeting.  This is a new and
wonderful opportunity to meet Conley Edwards, the new State Records
Administrator and Archivist of Virginia representing the Library of
Virginia (LVA) and Diane Horvarth, manager of Virginia Information
Technologies Agency (VITA) legal and legislative services unit discussing
the roles of their respective state agencies in public records management.

Topic:  The Roles of the Library of Virginia (LVA) and the Virginia
Information Technologies Agency (VITA) in Public Records Management

Conley and Diane will discuss the roles of their respective state agencies
in public records management.

Speakers:  Conley Edwards and Diane Horvath

Conley is the State Archivist of Virginia and Director of the Library’s
Archival and Information Services Division.  Diane is the manager of
VITA’s legal and legislative services unit, which provides direct support
to the CIO, deputy CIO, directors, and Legislative Committee of the
Information Technology Investment Board.


Place:  SunTrust Bank, 24th Floor, 919 East Main Street, Richmond, Virginia

Reception begins at 5:30.  Dinner will be served at 6:00.  Dinner will
feature two Entrées of Blackened Chicken Breast over angel hair pasta with
lemon chive cream sauce and Jambalaya (sausage, shrimp & chicken with
peppers, onions and tomatoes with rice), fresh vegetables, tossed salad
and rolls with butter.   Dessert will be Strawberry Shortcake.  Our
speakers will begin at 6:45.
