The Richmond ARMA Chapter Executive Board and Members know that you are
extremely busy and that there are often not enough hours in the day to
complete each and every task.  That's why we are so excited about the May
24th Dinner Meeting.  Marie Allen has been there and she has so graciously
agreed to share some of her more memorable experiences in records
management and archives.  We hope that you will be able to joins us for

Topic:  What I Learned About Records Management at the White House,
National Archives, NATO and the FBI

Speaker: Marie Allen, CRM, CA

Marie Allen served for more than 30 years as a manager and division
director at the National Archives, overseeing the records management
programs of all Federal agencies and, for three administrations, working
in the White House as Director of the Presidential Papers Staff.  She
developed an information management plan for NATO during an assignment in
Brussels in 2001, and completed her Federal career in a Senior Executive
position at the FBI as Chief of Records Policy.  Ms. Allen is a Certified
Records Manager and a Certified Archivist, and is currently enjoying
retirement (while continuing a records management consulting career) at
her new home in Williamsburg, VA.

Place:  SunTrust Bank, 24th Floor, 919 East Main Street, Richmond, Virginia

Reception begins at 5:30, followed by dinner at 6:00.  Our speaker will
begin at approximately 6:45.  The buffet dinner will feature entrees of
Chicken Marsala, Four Cheese Baked Ziti, Lemon Herb Rice Pilaf, served
with Caesar salad, fresh vegetables du jour, rolls & butter, ice tea and
coffee.  Dessert is chocolate mousse.
