Those of you that are not on the University of Florida's records
management listserv may have missed Peter Kurilecz's "Records and
Archives in the News (RAIN)" posting about the amendments to Virginia's
Rules of Civil Procedure that were adopted on October 1, 2008 by the
Supreme Court of Virginia.
The new rules address the discovery of electronically stored
information. The amendments affect rules 4:1, 4:4, 4:8, 4:9, 4:9A, and
4:13 and became effective January 1, 2009.
I've attached a link to the rules posted on the Supreme Court of
Virginia's website.
