On Wednesday, July 14 at 6:30 pm, Civil War Historian Michael D.
Gorman will present a free presentation of photographs taken late in
the war in and around Richmond.

This event is cosponsored by the Historic Petersburg Foundation, Inc.
and the Petersburg Department of Tourism.

It will be held at historic St. Paul's Church at 110 Union Street in
Petersburg, the church where Robert E. Lee worshipped, and where after
the war his son was married.

The photography program is titled, "Richmond Taken Again" and is a
multimedia exploration of the images made of Richmond at the end of
the war.

Michael Gorman is a Richmond based historian who works with the
National Park Service.

He is widely recognized as an expert on Civil War photography and has
published numerous articles on the subject.

For more information call the Historic Petersburg Foundation at (804)
732-2096.
