Kappa Alpha Order, the national men’s fraternity with headquarters in Lexington, Va., is looking for an author to research and write its 150th-anniversary history. The project will comprise two pieces: the full history of the organization, and a coffee-table photographic history. The publication date for both is early 2015.

The author will have access to the organization’s archives, which are located in Lexington and are being digitized. Compensation will include payment for services, plus possible room and board for time spent in Lexington and a possible travel budget for interviews.
