This is the ninth birthday of Va-Hist. Those of us who have been with it
from the beginning can scarcely realize that it's been that long, but among
Internet discussion groups, it is now one of the old-timers. It is the
oldest, I think, of the state discussion lists.

Thanks to everybody, veterans and newcomers, alike, for our success so far.
