The Virginia Department of Historic Resources and Preservation  
Virginia have announced a conference to be held September 20-22, 2009  
at Sweet Briar College and downtown Lynchburg titled "Historic  
Preservation and Sustainability:  Saving Our History, Saving Our  
Future."

A registration fee of $99 is being charged, and for more registration  
information you may go to http://www.apva.org/conference

Those who should attend are facility managers of historic sites,  
owners of historic properties, those in the trades associated with  
preservation, local preservation commissioners and architectural  
review board members, builders, developers, and investors, community  
advoctes, and others.

According to the brochure, "For three days in September, some of the  
nation's most respected thinkers and practitioners in the fields of  
historic preservation and sustainable building will converge on Sweet  
Briar College, and you can be a part of it for it for just $99."
