Sounds interesting. Wouldn't be suprised if this event is not repeated in the Williamsburg area if it hasn't happened already.

Subject: This Wednesday: "Bowden the Traitor" Lecture by Don Gunter

Bowden the Traitor: A Unionist Family in Confederate Williamsburg
ednesday, February 16, 2011
ime: Noon-1:00 PM
During the secession crisis most Virginians were loyal Unionists,
apitulating only when President Lincoln called for state militia
olunteers to suppress the insurrection in the Deep South. Some remained
nionists even after Virginia seceded. Among these were members of the
owden family, whose opposition to disunion resulted in great personal
acrifice and placed them on an unlikely path of political activism that
tretched from the Civil War to the end of the 19th century. Don Gunter
ill discuss how their decision affected the Bowden family.
