The next program in the Virginia Heritage Resource Center's Mining the
Treasure House lecture series will take place at noon on Thursday, 10 April,
2003,in the conference rooms adjacent to the lobby in the Libary of Virginia
at 800 East Broad Street in downtown Richmond.

The speaker will be Elizabeth Lewis, assistant director for library
development at the Library of Virginia. The title of her talk is,
"Virginia's Public Libraries: Boxes, Bruce and Bill Gates." This review of
the history of Virginia's public libraries is being presented to commemorate
National Library Week.

There is free underground parking for Library patrons. For more information
