Barbara,

Yes, that sentence is a bit misleading. The recently discovered Lancaster chancery documents have already been processed and indexed by LVA staff and are currently being scanned by our vendor so that they can be posted to the Chancery Records Index as well. As part of that process the plats are also being scanned and interfiled with their respective cases - all will be posted when our QC processes are completed.

A digital repository of the historic documents, along with others from across Virginia, can be viewed at lva.virginia.gov.

I may not be able to see the forest for the trees, but I couldn't find these on Virginia Memory.
