List members may be interested in this blog post by Max van Balgooy about
the Workhouse Prison Museum at Lorton. Max was formerly with the National
Trust for Historic Preservation and now has his own firm, Engaging Places,
and a blog on topics of historic preservation, historic interpretation and
historic house museums.

BTW, a comment on the post has already pointed out to him that Occaquan is
spelled incorrectly.
