Colonel Dandridge's, as you know, was a place that Lafayette's Army encamped
on June 17th, 1781. Capitaine's map shows Dandridge's on Goldmine Creek,
which is a tributary of the South Anna River in Hanover County (Capitaine
shows it as Goochland)

Topozone shows Goldmine Creek:

Scroll up to find the South Anna River. Where Dandridge's house was on the
creek, I do not know. Capitaine shows Dandridge's near the headwaters of the
creek.

Subject: Dandridge's plantation

Does anyone know the location of Dandridge's plantation in VA (NW of
Richmond I think), in 1781?
