HOORAY to Mr. Hargrove!!!!!! It is about time that someone have the guts to finally step up to the plate and put things into prospective!

We don’t condone Slavery and never have, but it happen. Just like the War Between the States happen. Others have told us to get over it when it pertains to the Confederacy. “The War is over, get over it, you lost.” Well here are two that won’t get over it. We are tired of being told that we have no right in voicing our opinions. If we have to get over it, so should others get over the issue of Slavery. We’re due an apology for the killing of our ancestors during the War Between the States from the United States of America!

Slavery was a part of life way before the War Between the States. It goes back before Christ! Remember it was the Jews that were enslaved! Who is to apologize for this?

What about what some call Uncle Tom’s who owned slaves? Here are the black people owning slave’s. What about black people selling their own into Slavery. Well then blacks too need to apologize also along with the white man!

In doing family research, we founded that we too have ancestors that were slaves. Our ancestors were American Indians. We understand that it was a way of life back then. Then there are our ancestor’s who came here to the United States of America as indenture servants. Which if you don’t know, it too, is a form of Slavery.

We are proud of our Confederate past for two reasons. One reason being that none of our ancestor’s owned slaves just as General Robert E. Lee didn‘t own a slave. Our ancestors were poor men who didn’t have a pot to piss in and couldn‘t afford a slave. They had to work they’re own land. The other is that they were fighting for States Rights.

Then there is the issue about the blacks that served for the Confederacy. Do you think that they were fighting for Slavery? I think not! What about the large Black regiment from Petersburg that served? Why isn’t this in the History books of today? I’ll tell you why, no one wants to hear that Blacks were apart of it!!!!
Have you set down and read the Emancipation Proclamation? If you have, you will see that Lincoln only freed the slaves in the Southern areas that were in Rebellion. Not the first slave was freed in the Northern supported areas. Lincoln didn’t even bring this issue into the War until 1863, two years after the War started. Don’t you know that Grant still had his slaves after the War of Northern Aggression.

We will not apologize for something that our ancestor’s didn’t do! How about others apologizing to us for what was done to our ancestor’s?

WE WILL NOT GET OVER IT! We are behind you one hundred percent Mr. Hargrove!!!! What happened to the FREEDOM OF SPEECH in the United States? It is no longer! Thank You Mr. Hargrove for standing up for what you and others believe in!

What happen to the First Amendment in the United States? We will tell you what. It is no longer without being Cruzified on the Cross!
