I hope others on the board would be willing to give me some guidance
regarding how to find out more information on Capt. Ralph Stewart (b:
January 17, 1746/47 in Stuart's Run, Augusta County) and his military
career during the American Revolution. I've accessed a number of primary
resources regarding him (his pension papers are disappointing with
regards to their lack of detail) but wonder if there are secondary
resources about him.

Of course there's a remarkable amount of information about him on the
Internet but I've no idea what's true or not, and at any rate prefer not
to use undocumented sources to find out more about him and his life.

Thanks for any guidance and/or advice you can provide.
