* "Jefferson Vindicated, Fallacies, Omissions, and Contradictions in the
Hemings Genealogical Search" by Cynthia H. Burton and a great foreword
by Past Monticello Director, James A. Bear, Jr.

* "The Jefferson-Hemings Myth, An American Travesty" edited by Eyler
Robert Coates, Sr. Thomas Jefferson Heritage Society

* "Jefferson, Callender and the Sally Story, The Scandalmonger and the
Newspaper War of 1802" by Dr. and Mrs James F. McMurry, jr.

* "Anatomy of a Scandal, Thomas Jefferson and the Sally Story" by Dr.
and Mrs James F. McMurry,Jr.

There are at least two other books in production that I am sure the
reader will be wanting to read. Some of the books above can be purchased
at Monticello, Amazon or at ther sources. For soap operas and Fawn
Brodies ramblings look to her book and the two FICTIONAL Jefferson TV
productions. You know Fawn Brodie believed that she was married to
Thomas Jefferson, was she somehow jealous of him?

As to my motives, there are rather open. I just want to know more about 
Jefferson's life than is given in his writings and his biographers. In
my 
mind, it is better for Fawn Brodie's romantic tale to be true, that they

loved each other over many years, than to believe that he gave her to
any 
tom, dick and harry who came to visit.
