The number of replies that I got to this little request are simply amazing.
Several things emerge:
1- There were a lot more camps than I thought
2- There is no single work that pulls them all together -- an opportunity
for a dissertation and a book
3- Another interesting study would be a follow-up of where descendants are
today -- simplest cut - the number who emigriated to America after the war
