Everyone,

Please note that Cassandra Pybus, the historian of the exodus of black Loyalists after the American Revolution, will speak at VCU's Student Commons, Richmond Salon I (Second Floor), on Monday, 12 November, at 4 p.m.

Her title is: "Reconstructing a Slave Family in Revolutionary Virginia"

She will discuss a remarkable enslaved matriarch, her extended family, and their struggle to attain freedom.

FREE and open to the public.

John
