Hello all,

The man who built my house in Lynchburg in 1816,
Peter Elliott, is reported to have "fought" in
the Whiskey Rebellion during his residency in
Richmond City.

I believe that units of Virginia Militia were
activated to head up to Western Pennsylvania
for this uprising. Is there a listing of either
those from Richmond who served during this conflict,
or a listing of Richmond City Militia from the
time period (mid 1790's)?
