Someone inquired about the prices of tobacco in early times. Unfortunately
I didn't keep the email & don't remember who or the exact question.
However, I would like to suggest ,"Tobacco In Colonial Virginia" by Melvin
Herndon. This is one of the Jamestown 350th Anniversary-Booklet set. There
is a discussion of tobacco, including prices, during the Jamestown era.
