Try checking the suit papers; they may have additional information. (They
have been microfilmed and are available at the Library of Virginia). The
suit papers should be filed with the court loose papers (called judgements
in Orange County). You will need to trace the suit to its final resolution
and check the court papers for that date.

that he was representing the defendant...I am trying to find out if
Samuel Kercheville was the debtor or representing the debtor...
