For those of you who are interested in this topic, the _Magazine of Virginia
Genealogy_ has published (full transcription) the Shenandoah store daybook
from the Allason papers beginning in Volume 34, No. 4 (Fall 1996)in various
issues through 2000--we have not finished, but issues in 2001 and 2002 did
not carry the series, it will be picked up again in 2003.

In addition, abstracts (almost a complete transcription) of one of the
Jerdone account books for his store in Hanover County for the years 1743--44
ran from volume 34, no. 3 (summer 1996) and was completed in volume 38, no 2
(May 2000).

Prior issues also had transcriptions and/or abstracts of some early account
books (primarily day books).
