James,

Lyle is looking at a book I read a few months back that questions the Bering 
Strait as the only point of entry. It is also possible that early man 
arrived from the south, having crossed Antarctica and up the west coast of 
South America. There is so much going on in South America that really 
questions whether all inhabitants of America came here the long way.
