I am sure he died at home which at the time was only yards away from St.
John's Church.

Eric,

What were the burial practices of the 1820 timeframe?  If Wills passed
away while traveling on business or pleasure, would his body have been
returned to Richmond, or would he have been buried in the location where
he died?
