The Northern Neck of Virginia mailing list is a rootsweb list, and one subscribes to it in the usual manner. Send an email to
[log in to unmask]
with the word "subscribe" in the both the subject line and in the message body, and nothing else. This will subscribe you in list mode. If you wish to receive messages in digest mode, substitute "l" with "d."
You will receive notification you have been subscribed and you will need to read that message and reply to it.
The list is a discussion board for the counties of Northumberland, Lancaster, Richmond, Westmoreland, King George, Stafford, Essex and Middlesex counties. The last two are not technically in the Northern Neck, but were included due to social, historical, economic and genealogical connections between them and the Northern Neck counties.
