A bit contradictory, isn't it. Not friendly for the taxpayers who support this facility.

The reason that will be given is that LVA must be open on weekdays to support the state government and the General Assembly when in session. The state code states that the library's first responsibility is to the citizens of the Commonwealth. Government is second.
