The Library of Virginia's web site at http://www.lva.lib.va.us maintains a
calendar of scheduled events and also notices of holiday closings. The
schedules for Christmas and New Year weekends are posted there now. This
additional notice will be posted there soon, but for researchers planning
visits to the Library of Virginia later in January, this may be useful
information already:

The Library of Virginia will be open on Friday, 12 January 2001 (Lee-Jackson
Day in Virginia), and on Monday, 15 January 2001 (Martin Luther King Jr.
Day). The Library will be closed on Saturday, 13 January 2001.
