The African American Historians Society of Portsmouth, Virginia
presents, Law and Reason at the Library Door on March 1, 2008, at I.C.
Norcom High School, Portsmouth, Virginia at 2:30 p.m. Dr. James Holley,
Mayor of Portsmouth, Virginia and Dr Owens, former president of
Portsmouth, Virginia NAACP will present an historical dialog about the
past and current trends of Civil Rights. Each person will entertain
questions from the audience. There will also be an original drama named,
"Law and Reason at the Library Door by Ms. Billie Cooke. Third Baptist
Church of Portsmouth, Virginia has always played an proactive role for
Civil Rights, the Third Baptist Drama Group will be performing the play.
