Mr. Deci, could many of these road have been used by the public over the
years and not been claimed by public road agencies, and therefore not on any
official county, or state road map? this is the case many old county "woods
roads in the mountains of Georgia even today. Old public roads that no
public road agency claims. They are kept up more or less by the people who
use them or live along them. They will only show up in deed language or in
a deed plat, or as historial remains on the ground.
