I think there is a need to review who exactly founded Jamestown.

accomplishments of  history, explorations as a prime example, were the 
efforts of governments,  not private enterprise. If you consider the 
Jamestown Colony, you have to  factor in the loss of life due to the vagaries 
and incertitudes of private  enterprise.
