No thanks Anne, I'll decline. Feel free to apologize all you want, I bear no
personal guilt over slavery. I see no need to offer gratuitous apologies and
you have no right to demand one. I'll repent my own sins, not those of others.

I feel it more important that we look to the future to ensure that
African-Americans are treated with dignity, respect, and equality deserving of
them and all races. I'm not going to play the guilt game. If that offends you,
too bad. I've had enough of people's rights being infringed because someone
claims to be offended. 

As this thread is starting to stray away Virginia history and more into the
modern day politics of being people offended, I'll pretty much leave it at that.
