Giving notice of a free history event:

The Kilpatrick-Dahlgren Raid

How close to succeeding did a Federal plot to capture President Jefferson Davis & his Cabinet, set thousands of Federal prisoners free, and then loot & burn Richmond on March 1, 1864 come?  Were there even more sinister plans for this raid?
Historian & writer Dr. Bruce Venter will discuss these aspects and the importance of the Kilpatrick-Dahlgren Raid on the 150th anniversary of this action.
