In response:  we had a wonderful vacation last year in New Mexico and had an
the opportunity to visit the petroglyphs.

I very interesting site and now part of the National Park System.

However, homes have been built as close as possible to the park.

Had the folks in ABQ not fought for this site, I believe that the entire
area would be covered with homes/shopping centers, etc.

Unfortunately the VA history site will not take attachments, so I can not
add a photo of a petroglyph or the surrounding area. -- it is completely
different that Virginia.
