I amazes me the restrain shown by those who are not fooled by those trying 
to obfuscate the issue and diminish the well-known facts. Jefferson's 
"character" was not as "sterlings" as his apologists insist, even if we 
don't take the Hemings offspring into consideration. There is still the 
Betsy Walker affair, the pursuit of Maria Cosway, and the "load of hogwash" 
of his opinions on sexuality. I will repeat myself of a few days ago and 
remind that his beloved wife was killed by his unbridgled urges. Sterling 
charctor? He was just another man!
