I am interested in Virginia sites that are connected to or honor Zachary
Taylor and William Henry Harrison. There is a highway sign on Route 33 of
Taylor's birth site and the town of Buena Vista was named for his victory
there in the Mexican War, but the town apparently takes no notice of that
today. Harrison was born and lived at Berkeley until he entered
Randolph-Macon College, but again there is only a general mention of that at
Berkeley and apparently no particular attention is given to him at R-M.
