Alyson,

I have her book among others but a couple of pages that simply skim the
history of Shed Town or North of Broad doesn't even touch the surface of
the rich history being overlooked do to some bias people from years
past. True, her book is wonderful in its scope showing Richmond in
general but I am looking for something more comprehensive which is
apparently elusive or nonexistent. I may just have to take on that
challenge myself!

Eric

Hi Eric-
Mary Wingfield Scott wrote about all of Richmond's historic
neighborhoods in her books. A modern reprint of Old Richmond
Neighborhoods is available through the shop at the Valentine Richmond
History Center.
