In Colonial Williamsburg's film 'The Patriot' there is a scene in which
Geo Washington cracks a walnut with one hand in what the narrator calls a
"prodigious" demonstration of physical strength . . .
Does anyone know whether this incident is based on documented information,
and if so from whence has the story come to us?
