I recently learned from an 1850s Richmond newspaper ad that there was a
hospital exclusively for slaves located near 26th and Main Streets in
Richmond. I've found the names of the doctors who staffed it and have
consulted the usual major sources and historical institutions but can
find nothing about the hospital itself. Does anyone out there in
list-land have any ideas?

Thanks,
