A 1649 grant describes a piece of property in Northampton County, VA as being
at Occahannock Creek abutting Batchelor's Neck to the West. Occahannock Creek
is the present-day border between Accomack County on the North and
Northampton County on the South. Does anyone happen to know within which
county Batchelor's Neck falls today and what it might be called?
